First read the scenario and then follow the instructions given below.
The Scenario
During your lunch break at Centennial Public School, Mrs. Hoffman, the school administrator, approaches you with an excited look and begins to talk about the recent seminar you, along with the rest of the staff and faculty had attended on constructivism for learning. Since then, she tells you, she has been really intrigued to test it out in the school and wants you to be the pilot class. Mrs. Hoffman continues to explain that what she expects is for you to design a lesson, for a subject of your choosing, that is based on the constructivist model outlined in the seminar. Since she already felt that she was asking a lot, a list of different education platforms that are great for constructivism was provided from which you can choose to use in designing the lesson.
Now that you have agreed, your task is to explore the different platforms, select the one that is best suited for you and then try using that platform to design the lesson plan based on constructivist principles. Even though you feel uncertain right now, you know you want to do a great job on this because you had also heard there's been talk of potentially creating an education technology specialist position...so perhaps it can be yours.
Challenge instructions
(1) Return to the ‘What's Out There’ page and choose one of the platforms that appeals to you the most (or another related platform if you wish).

(3) Use the platform to design the framework of a constructivist lesson plan that you hope to develop further at a later date.
(4) Provide a link in the ETEC 512 constructivism discussion under 'Challenge Yourself' to share your lesson with the class.
(5) Check out the other lesson’s posted and offer feedback for both the lesson itself and usefulness of that particular platform.
